In the name of God,Amen,I JANNAT HEWITT of Brockinthwate in the Parish of Westward of County of Cumberland,young women,being sick in body but whole of Perfect mind and Praised by to Almighty God for I do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form followeth.
In primus,I give and bequeath my soul into ye hands of Almighty God ,my creator and my body to be buried at ye Parish church of Westward all for a decent and Christian manner at the discretion of my executors and for my worldly goods I do dispose as followeth.
Item: I give unto my brother EDWARD HEWITT ten shillings
Item:I give unto my sister ANN HEWITT tenshillings.
Item:I give unto my brothers EDWARDS son WILLIAM HEWITT ten shillings.
Item:I leave to WILLIAM CHALLENOR thirty shillings.
Item:I Leave to JAMES JEFFERSON half a crown.
Item:I leave to ANN JEFFERSON a blue potty tout
Item:I leave to JOSEPH JEFFERSON half a crown
Item:I leave to JENNET JEFFERSON half a crown.
Item:I leave to SOUSAN JEFFERSON half a crown.
Item:I leave toMARGERET WOOD half a crown.
Item:I leave to ELIZABETH CHALLENOR half a crown.
Item:I leave to MARY CHALLENOR half a crown.
Item;I leave to MARY IRELAND half a crown
Item:I leave to JOHN JEFFERSON[Sailor] Ten shillings
Item;I leave to ANN WHITEHEAD my shoules,manty,pooty tout.
Item:I leave to ELIZABETH IRELAND my best gay appron.
Lastly all the rest of my goods moveable and immovable I leave to my sister SOUSAN HEWITT whom I do make and ordain my executor of this my last will and testament, my debts and funeral expenses discharged the day and year written above as witness my hand and seal
